LUOSKO German Shepherd Dog Rescue is a small independent charity (charity no. 1188407) set up to responsibly rescue, rehabilitate and re-home German Shepherds who find themselves in difficult situations, abandoned or ill treated.
Funded almost entirely by public donations, we re-home around 100+ dogs each year. We can have around 40+ dogs at any one time in our care, this could be in our own kennels based in Cheadle, Stoke on Trent or in commercial boarding kennels and foster homes throughout the UK.
LUOSKO German Shepherd Dog Rescue operates on a national basis so our dogs can be homed in most areas within the UK. We have volunteers from all walks of life and across the whole of the UK who help us by: fostering, fundraising, doing home visits, transporting dogs, cleaning kennels, training and walking our dogs. We also have placement and work experience opportunities for students.
We are totally self funded and work extremely hard to raise the necessary funds to continue helping our wonderful dogs. This is made possible by the fantastic support from our network of volunteers and you, the general public. Without this generosity we could not do the work we do and we are extremely grateful for every donation we receive, no matter how small. Every single penny really does count!
